THE K.F.C. STUDENT BURSARY

Our club has signed an agreement with the Okanagan College Foundation to fund a $3,000 annual award which will help a flying student obtain a commercial pilot licence.

KIWI PROGRAM: LET'S GO FLYING!

  • Kiwis (like the flightless bird) are club members who do not hold a pilot's license but would like to and want to go flying!
  • Pilots in the club flying program will book the club aircraft and fly it wherever and whenever the Kiwi wants.
  • The cost of becoming a Kiwi member is $300 per year which includes 3 hours of flight time. After 3 hours the cost for fuel is added at $80 per hours. Being a member gives you the benefit of flying even if you don't have a pilot's license!

PEOPLE LOVE THE KELOWNA FLYING CLUB

    • Nathan Peacock

I felt welcome the moment I met a few of the members. I know little about airplanes, and I’d never been in one smaller than what goes between Kelowna and Vancouver. I was welcomed to join in a 115th anniversary of powered flight in North America flight between Kelowna, Vernon, and Penticton. So much fun, such a special way to see the valley!
